The console versions of this game never interested me, but as a big fan of the Gameboy Advance version of Urbz: Sims in the City, I had to give the GBA version of Sims: Bustin' Out a shot, and this is actually a really solid game! I think Urbz on GBA is still my favorite, though.

I'm a fan of The Sims games and these two are just as good as the others. The console version of The Sims: Bustin' Out has more clothes, items and now locations to visit whenever you feel like it once you unlock them, you can even get different vehicles to go on. All you need to do is go onto your vehicle pick the location and you see your Sim driving to it. The characters you meet are match the location. The game sees you playing as the Sim you create doing objectives in the locations you move into, your rich stepfather Malcolm is going around stealing people's items and he steals the Scooter from your Mom's house after completing the objectives you get it then you move into the house given to you depending on what job you pick, then you go to different houses completing objectives and trying to get every promotion for each job to fully complete the game.
The Sims: Bustin' Out also has free play mode where you can create a family, move them into a house and play through their lives just like the original The Sims. The Sims: Bustin' Out is a great game that is definitely worth playing.
The GBA version of The Sims: Bustin' Out is the first hand-held version of The Sims is pretty good, the game has you creating a Sim then moving to your Uncles farm you have to do some objectives but unlike the other Sims games you actually control your Sim, also when you talk to Sims in this game you choose what to say to them. If you day something good to that person you build up your friendship, if you say something bad your relationship decreases, if you say a flirt, hug or kiss the opposite sex they can fall in love with your character. After doing several objectives you can move to another house, their are four houses you move into in this game. The characters you meet have their own personality and when talking to them the topic you speak about is different.
To buy things you need to go to the store and buy the item and for money you need to work, the jobs are mini-games that include mowing the lawn where you drive the lawn mower over the grass trying not to hit the flowers, flipping a pizza on the right toppings, playing a guitar where you press the buttons at the right moment, weight lifting where you need to lift the weights and many more.
The GBA version of The Sims: Bustin' Out is one to look out for since it's something new to franchise and is great fun to play.
