Unfunny drivel
27 November 2005 | by (Ireland) – See all my reviews

This show is one of the worst things I have ever seen. Pat Shortt who can be funny totally dominates the proceedings here, he probably has to because the rest of the people on the show are so bad. I would have liked this to be good or great but it is absolute drivel. One can see the jokes-if you can call them jokes-coming three miles off. This is the type of thing some infantile people who never left their home town in Ireland probably would think is very funny. If there were sharp writers perhaps it could have been an interesting comedic take on rural Ireland but it seems they've drawn on the local pantomime writers for this one. It's when you see great shows like Seinfeld from the US or The Office from the UK do you realise how unsophisticated Ireland and Irish TV is.
