Storyline

Percy's disinterest in science and chemistry takes a sudden turn when he learns that a French scientist is being imprisoned in France under threat of the guillotine until he can develop a bomb that he and his sister were experimenting with. His sister, on the run, has the very notes explaining the process that are being sought by Robespierre and his general. She seeks the Scarlet Pimpernel to help save her brother, but unfortunately a traitor amongst the league of the Scarlet Pimpernel threatens the rescue and the lives of everyone involved.
