A documentary about the inspiration of director Michel Gondry. An extraordinary world where onirism, memories and childhood have the utmost importance.
I cannot believe that up until now not a single person has commented on this extraordinary little film.
Michel Gondry is (in my opinion) cinemas greatest asset at this point in time. A lot of people wont know his name from a bar of soap but I bet everyone recognizes his work.... from the famous music videos featuring The White Stripes, Bjork, Kylie Minogue, Chemical Brothers, Foo Fighters and Daft Punk to his Vodka commercials....
More recently his 2 feature films have left a massive impact of the world of film. Human Nature and Eternal Sunshne of a Spotless Mind.
This film delves deep into the psyche of an eccentric genius. When I watch Michel Gondry work I cannot help but be jealous. I have served my years at film school and only wish I could express my thoughts the way this guy does. Every little stupid thing he thinks of.... he expresses in film. He is a genius! You wont always make sense of this man but no body is supposed to. Like Kubric, Michel Gondry is destined for greatness.
