Two college roommates go out and party, resulting in bad grades. They learn of the clause that says, "If your roommate dies, you get an A," and decide to find someone who is on the verge, so to speak, to move in with them.
Tom Everett Scott,
Seemingly disparate portraits of people -- among them a single mother, a high school principal, and an ace student -- Distinctly American -- all affected by the proliferation of guns in American society.
Marcia Gay Harden,
Dispatched from his basement room on an errand for his widowed mother, slacker Jeff might discover his destiny (finally) when he spends the day with his unhappily married brother as he tracks his possibly adulterous wife.
I really enjoyed this short which stars Linda Cardellini and Jason Segel as an offbeat couple. Segel plays an unattractive (dare I say hideous?) janitor with poor hygiene while Cardelli gets to play the highly attractive Barbie doll character for once and is barely recognizable at times. This is a 18 minute short which features Linda's character, Lisa, writing a story about these two lovers. It's a fun, dark comedy. It's also nice to see Cardellini and Segel together again, I always get really excited when see Freaks and Geeks cast members working together again.
