Very cute short film
joanna_h13 March 2005
I saw this short film at a film festival last year and it was very well done. I believe it won the audience award for Best Short at the festival. The story is very sweet and clever. Bravo to Hank for creating a very nice romantic comedy. He is great in the film, as is the rest of the cast (especially Harold Gould as the grandfather). If you get a chance to see this or rent it by chance, it is worth it. It explores the "What if you could see the future of a relationship" in a funny way. In fact, this could turn into a nice feature with the right writer. I wonder if that is what Hank had in mind? Also, I met Hank at the festival and he was very nice ... very appreciative of anyone who came to watch his film.

Good

This short film proves that a small story can be much more meaningful than a large one. I found it entertaining and it left me with a warm feeling. There's something for everyone here. I love this movie. Laughs and seriousness are both in this movie, I think. If you haven't seen this film for quite some time, then I highly suggest that you do see it soon. There's really no way to classify or categorize this film. I like it enough, but I don't think it's great or all that really good. Film editing coincides with plot pacing, and ranges from slow to super fast. After reading the reviews on here I wasn't put off watching this film. 7/10.

Great Short Film

I really enjoyed this short film. I saw it at the local film festival in my hometown of Ojai, California and thought it was great. It was a charming love story with great characters and a thoughtful storyline. It was also very well written and directed. I hope to see many more of Hank's movies, this was excellent!! I also really enjoyed the cast, many of my favorite actors were in the film and the characters suited them well. I thought it was very impressive that he was able to tell this story in only twenty minutes without leaving us unsatisfied. The perspective through the glasses was cleverly handled and I liked that we got to see so many examples. I thought the ending was very affective and romantic with the transition from the glasses to their wedding day. As for the title, it suits the story nicely and it sums up the moral of the film very well.
