Director Gil Portes wanted Carlo Muñoz to play the boyfriend of Edades. Portes even asked entertainment editor Ricky Lo to talk with Munoz' management at ABS-CBN for their talent to be tapped in the movie. ABS-CBN refused saying there is a conflict in the schedule. Finding it hard to talk with ABS, Portes hired James Blanco, a talent of the rival GMA Network.

It's very sad that this movie was a box-office flop. Yes, most theaters pulled out the movie after just three days in release. It's the tail-ender among the nine films in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2003. But the movie is very strong. The plot ... the acting ... so powerful!
