I expected much more from this short comedy about a perfume salesman who is unsuccessful because he stinks. I feel that much more could have been done with the story. I wonder if perhaps the length of the piece had something to do with it. Clocking in at only just over three minutes, it can be argued that with only such a short amount of time, that nothing much can really be achieved. But I refuse to settle for that excuse. Any film, no matter how short, should be affecting in some way, shape or form. Many of the great directors were able to do so much with only just a few minutes, or even just a few seconds to spare. Think of all the iconic moments that were put on film that only last a short span of time. A success, right? Unfortunately, this short film fails. Better luck next time.
