Nicky helps a retired couple escape to North Wales. They are in the county of Gwynedd where slate is quarried and the average price of a house is £140,000 which is £23,000 less than the UK average. The Snowdonia National Park is to the east, and houses in the park are no more expensive than outside it. The couple seeking a property is Jamal and Dee from North London who have retired early, both from an Accountancy career. Dee is a keen amateur photographer and Jamal likes old properties. They would like some out-buildings for a studio and stables for horses. They do not want to buy a property that needs work and their budget is £450,000.
