Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • Strong, yet comical
  • Some super 8-home videos shows lots of black oozing gore & violent moments (meant to be comical, yet disturbing)
  • Some of the flashbacks (since this is about schizophrenia) are very disturbing & can scare more sensitive viewers
  • Constant intense themes (Running away from home, suicide, obsession with violence, child abuse, rape, government testing, electroshock therapy, etc... and more throughout)
  • *There is no real graphic violence on screen, the main character as a teenager was interested in taking low-budget horror movies which can explain the violent sequences*.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This movie is very intense & is not meant for the very young or sensitive.
  • Despite this being a documentary, this is much darker than what you would normally be broadcast on television shows on networks like Discovery fit & health.
  • Very intense.
  • Suggested MPAA Rating: R for intense theatrical material involving mentally disturbed individuals including bizarre behavior, sequences of bloody violence, drug material, language & nudity--some involving teens
  • Should be fine for 15+ (But take caution)
