Q: Why did Axel kidnap Kiari?

A: Axel explains that he kidnapped Kairi in order to lure Sora to him, because he wanted to see Roxas. Axel said that Roxas made him feel like he had a heart. He then tells Sora that Sora makes him feel the same way. Axel then dies (Or, fades) after apoligizing and to tell Kairi he is sorry.

A: Eventually there will be, yes. It has been highly hinted at by Square-Enix and Tetsuya Nomura (Game creator) that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be the next title in the series after Dream Drop Distance (released March 2012 in Japan, July 2012 in NA), and Dream Drop Distance itself has been described as "setting up the story" for KH3. Nomura however, has said not to expect Kingdom Hearts 3 until at least 2013 due to his involvement with Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
