“Moonlight”‘s surprise Best Picture win over “La La Land” at Sunday’s Oscars ceremony has set the internet on fire with some hilarious memes. Viewers took “La La Land” producer Jordan Horowitz holding up the actual Best Picture card and Photoshopped in some other people and films they feel should have won. Among them: Beyonce for “Lemonade,” “Bee Movie” for Best Picture, and Hillary Clinton for President. Price Waterhouse Cooper, the acccounting firm that tabulates the Oscar results, issued a statement late last night apologizing for the massive error on live national television that saw film icons Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway read. »

Great Job, Internet!: Idea Channel explains Bee Movie memes via exasperating Bee Movie meme

Clear a path, people, because there’s a new meme in town. The Verge calls them “technical memes,” while Know Your Meme dubs the new phenomenon a “word replacement remix.” Basically, you take a piece of existing art (Bee Movie, for example), then alter it somehow based off a particular word or trigger. There’s YouTube user Avoid At All Costs’ “The entire bee movie but every time they say bee it gets faster,” which is self-explanatory. There’s also That One Ghost Named Asdfghjkl’s “The Bee Movie But Without Bees,” which is also self-explanatory. Now, Idea Channel has given us the epitome of all Bee Movie memes with “The Bee Movie But Every Time They Say Bee We Explain The Deal With Bee Movie,” which is self-explanatory both in name and conception.

Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry have long been friends and collaborators — but fans have never seen the stars like this before!

The 62-year-old talk show giant has joined Perry in the cast of the upcoming animated holiday film The Star, People confirms.

The film, from Oscar-nominated writer-director Timothy Reckart (Head Over Heels), tells the story of a brave little donkey named Bo (The Walking Dead‘s Steven Yeun) and his animal friends who follow the Star and become the accidental heroes of the greatest story every told — the first Christmas.
