Storyline

Relationships rule our lives, whether we're in one and trying to get out, out of one and trying to get in, or in one and just trying to hang on. Commitment may be the hardest thing to pledge, but a one-night-stand can no longer be just harmless fun. Are love and fidelity out of fashion? See what happens when a group of friends have a weekend away in the country. The West Wittering affair is the moment of truth for 4 uptight 30 something London professionals, which propels their chaotic love lives on an emotional roller-coaster in this romantic sex-comedy of errors. Superb Comedy - far better than "Sideways"!
30 March 2006 | by (Greenwich, United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

I was privileged to catch this at the excellent Greenwich Film Festival and haven't laughed so much in years!

A very interesting and original production, played out in flashbacks that are superbly edited, so that they add to the enjoyment rather than detract from it. A sexy, witty, observant, delightful movie.

The characterisation was spot-on, with the audience really involved with each character from the start and keen to learn the next twist in the plot. Their peculiarities and flaws most of us share in some form!

Very funny and well-paced, with an extremely likable and professional ensemble cast.

Deserves to really hit the big time; it is so much better than so many Hollywood movies. I impatiently await the DVD...

Go see it!
