FilmNation Entertainment released a new trailer for the upcoming thriller “The Raven” through Total Film. The film stars John Cusack, Luke Evans, Alice Eve, Brendan Gleeson and Oliver Jackson-Cohen. We got our first official look at John Cusack as Edgar Allen Poe in the upcoming The Raven back in June, and he looked pretty fantastic.
We then got an utterly stunning first poster for the film a month later, followed by a great batch of images, and then a second follow-up poster that was yet another brilliant work of art.
Directed by James McTeigue (V for Vendetta), and written by Hannah Shakespeare (Loverboy) and newcomer Ben Livingstone, the film is led by John Cusack and also stars Luke Evans, Alice Eve, Brendan Gleeson, and Oliver Jackson-Cohen. Our first look at Alice Eve as the female lead in the film came with the batch of images back in July, and we’ve now got our first hi-res look at her courtesy of Bloody Disgusting. Rest assured, though, the picture is far from bloody disgusting, showing Eve fit for a ball »

Jennifer Coolidge and Steve Zahn are about to get their party on. The duo have been named the celebrity monarchs of the famed Orpheus, which parades through Uptown New Orleans on Lundi Gras -- or Fat Monday -- on March 7.
In case you need a refresher on who these two are, we like to remember Coolidge fondly as the original "Milf" from the "American Pie" franchise: Stiffler's mom. She also appeared as the advice giving manicurist to Elle Woods in "Legally Blonde."
Zahne will be appearing alongside his castmates from HBO's New Orleans based drama "Treme," but we loved him in "Joy Ride" starring opposite Paul Walker.
Also appearing in the parade will be Jonathan Silverman ("Weekend At Bernies") and his wife Jennifer Finnigan ("Better With You"), as well as performances by Loverboy, The Radiators, Josh Gracin, The Bucktown All-Stars, Contraflow, The Distractions and Dash Rip Rock.

James McTeigue (V For Vendetta, Ninja Assassin) is putting the finishing touches [1] on The Raven, which stars John Cusack as author Edgar Allan Poe. The story is a fictionalized look at the writer’s last days, when he embarks upon a search for a killer who may be copying events from Poe’s novels. Now Relativity has picked up distribution rights to the film, but a release date has not yet been set. Hope for October; maybe Relativity will have the balls to go up against Contagion and Paranormal Activity 3 on Oct 21.
