If you haven't raced to the local theater for a screening of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 yet, you might want to save this story for later. As it contains Spoilers! Those who have seen the movie, and stayed all the way to the very last of five post-credit scenes, know that Stan Lee's Marvel character has finally been revealed. Yes, his cameos mean something, they're all connected, and he's played the same character in every movie, presumably even those outside of Marvel Studio's cinematic universe including X-Men and Deadpool.
As it stands, Stan Lee has appeared in more Marvel movies than anyone else, including Robert Downey Jr., who reprises Tony Stark for an 8th time in this summer's Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Samuel L. Jackson, who has turned in 7 appearances out of the 9 in his contract. Known for creating some of the greatest superheroes in history and forever the face of Marvel comics, »

Making Aquaman cool is a tricky job. Generally known for being squeaky-clean, blonde-haired and blue-eyed, and possessing the questionably useful superpower of being able to talk to fish (and breath underwater), for much of his existence, the character has been the butt of the joke.
Jason Momoa intends to flip that perception around however and drag Aquaman back into the superhero A-list alongside Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. In a ludicrously manly photoshoot and interview with GQ (He climbs mountains! He rides motorbikes! He throws arrows!), the actor explained that he’s going to set the tone for the character.
We’ve never really seen anything from this guy before, so it’s fun to have a level playing field. There aren’t like four Aquamans before me. I get to set the tone for it.
He’s got a point when it comes to the big screen, but the »

Earlier this month, Dwayne Johnson gave a new update on his Jungle Cruise movie for Disney, revealing that he plans to start shooting that adventure in the spring of 2018. As of now, Dwayne Johnson is the only cast member attached, and there is no director attached at this time, with Glenn Ficarra and John Requa writing the script. Today we have word that, while it may be some time before a director is locked down, Dwayne Johnson already has someone in mind, Wonder Woman filmmaker Patty Jenkins.
The Associated Press ran a new profile on Patty Jenkins earlier today, and her road to directing Wonder Woman, which is only her second feature film after the critically-acclaimed 2003 film Monster, which earned Charlize Theron her first Oscar. Between now and then, the filmmaker had been courted to direct Thor for a period of time, and she kept busy on the small screen, »
Jungle Cruise isn’t really a film anyone asked for. If you had gone up to anyone on the street and asked them what property they’d like to see hit the big screen, they’d name a myriad of things, but Jungle Cruise wouldn’t be one of them. Heck, if you had asked them which Disney ride they’d like to see as a film, you probably wouldn’t have gotten them to say Jungle Cruise.
That being said, none of us really asked for a Pirates of the Caribbean film either, and we all know that turned out to be one of the biggest franchises of all time. Plus, Jungle Cruise has the help of having Dwayne Johnson spearheading the project. Johnson has made a name for himself in the business as being one of the biggest names in Hollywood and 2016’s highest grossing actor, which is »

About 30 minutes before the grand opening of Magic Mike Live at Hard Rock Las Vegas, Channing Tatum stood on a red carpet surrounded by 13 male performers in the show and a chant broke out among the men: “We want strippers!”
It didn’t take long before that happened, with the 13 men dancing and shedding clothes, much to the delight of the predominately female crowd.
Tatum sat above the show on a balcony looking down at his creation, but certainly not missing the days when he was on stage as women tossed money at him.
“I don’t miss anything about stripping, »

When Warner Brothers’ hotly anticipated “Wonder Woman” hits theaters on June 2, it will not only be a landmark moment for female superheroes, but also for female directors like Patty Jenkins, who told DC All Access that she always saw herself as Superman.
Audiences have been familiar with Jenkins ever since she wrote and directed “Monster” (2003), which starred Charlize Theron in a career-defining turn as serial killer Aileen Wuornos, for which she won an Academy Award. More recently, Jenkins has directed for television show like “The Killing,” “Arrested Development,” and “Entourage.” “Wonder Woman” marks a giant step up for Jenkins, as well as female directors who rarely get offered blockbusters.
In the exclusive clip below, Jenkins discusses her personal history with superhero stories. “It’s not about being a superhero,” said Jenkins. “It’s about having a medium »

John Cleese is set for a return to a BBC sitcom for the first time since “Fawlty Towers,” the broadcaster said Tuesday. The “Monty Python” legend will co-star alongside actress Alison Steadman in new six-part comedy series “Edith,” which has been commissioned for BBC One.
Created and written by Charles McKeown, who was Oscar-nominated for 1985’s “Brazil” directed by Cleese’s fellow Python Terry Gilliam, “Edith” will also star Jason Watkins, Jessica Hynes, Anne Reid, Rosie Cavaliero, James Cosmo and Peter Egan. The show re-teams Cleese and Steadman, who played husband and wife in Christopher Morahan’s 1986 film “Clockwise.”
“If you had carte blanche on your fantasy BBC One comedy cast then you’d not be far off the ‘Edith’ line-up,” said Shane Allen, controller of comedy commissioning at the BBC. “It’s also a huge pleasure to welcome John Cleese back to the land of BBC sitcom – his last one did all right.”

In what may very well be the first time someone has been accused of threatening someone with a dangerous Entourage episode in a court of law, Jurassic World and Star Wars: Episode IX writer Derek Connolly has sued a woman he dated over threatening to “Entourage S7 E7” him. Rather than a vicious promise to make Connolly’s life so comfortable and supportive that people lose all capacity to give a shit about what happens to him, though, the threat seems to be centered on a plotline from the episode “Tequila & Coke,” in which Jeremy Piven’s character Ari is threatened with blackmail.
The threat, accompanied with the alleged posting of the couple’s texts to Instagram, was apparently issued as part of the woman’s demand that Connolly—a long-time collaborator with Episode IX director Colin Trevorrow, and the mind that helped bring Monster Trucks into the world ...
