Trivia | The film begins with a lengthy telephone conversation between Warhol, Viva and Brigid Polk. This was one of several conversations Viva and Auder had recorded unbeknownst to Warhol until late in the conversation. Its highlight is when Viva compares the pain of childbirth with the gunshot wound Warhol suffered at the hands of Valerie Solanas in 1968. Money and compensation are a consistent topic throughout. The final scene consists of an informal interview conducted by Larry Rivers at the Factory following the publication of The Philosophy of Andy Warhol. See more » |
