Storyline

Andy Griffith, Ron Howard, Rodney Dillard, Don Knotts sat in their court room set where the show was made. They talked about the show and how the show affected their lives and how others react to them when they see them now. Archive footage was shown of their favorite moments and of those who had died that were part of the show. Ron Howard walked with Andy Griffith on the road that opened the show. Ron, at age 49 whistled the theme song and threw the rock just as he did as a little boy, and comparative footage was shown. After they finished talking they all hugged and told they loved one another. Andy Griffith turned the lights out and the show ended. Written by Rosemea D.S. MacPherson

It's cool to see the starts of The Andy Griffith Show together again
4 November 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

What can I say, If you love the Andy Griffith Show, you will love seeing them all together for one last time. It's fun watching Don, Andy, Ron, and Jim reminisce about their time on the show. It's very clear from the beginning these guys are still very fond of each other One one the coolest things is the recreation of the old courthouse set. That must have been really weird for those guys to be in that atmosphere after so many years.

Also, It was cool that Ron Howard, being the big shot that he is now, still made the effort to appear in this show.

It's a shame that so many other cast members were deceased when they made this show. It would have been epic to have had larger number of people for this reunion. But hey, what you get is pretty darn good!
