He-Man starts getting real in 'The Real Masters of Eternia'
This isn’t anywhere close to the true story about eight Eternians… It’s been more than 30 years since He-Man first channeled the power of Greyskull. Now, the muscleman with the bob cut is back in a “reality” show that just launched on YouTube. In this Real World-style video that’s clearly inspired by What's Up, Tiger Lily? and Sealab 2021, He-Man, Teela, Skeletor and the rest of the crew move into Castle Greyskull and the chaos ensues. The Real Masters of Eternia is produced by Dreamworks TV and was written by Matt Levy and Alex Hoffman. This isn’t the first time someone’s attempted a reality animated show. From 2004-07 Comedy Central aired the show Drawn Together, which featured the voices of Adam Carolla and Tara Strong. Check out the video of The Real Masters of Eternia…

Emily S. Whitten Interviews Jess Harnell

  • Comicmix
As I mentioned last week, I got to interview some fantastically talented folks while at Awesome Con DC 2015; and now I get to share the first of those interviews with you. I started off my weekend by talking with the wonderful, warm, and funny voice actor and singer Jess Harnell, who graciously took time out of his busy convention schedule to chat with me behind the scenes; and let me tell you, it was a treat!

If you’re not familiar with Jess…well, you probably only think you’re not familiar with Jess. Because if I mention, oh, say, Wakko Warner of Animaniacs, Captain Hero of Drawn Together, Ironhide of the Transformers movies, Chilly of Doc McStuffins, Grim of The 7D, the Sewer Urchin of The Tick, or one of the other 274 credits on Jess’s IMDb page, I’m pretty sure you’ll realize you’ve heard this

Get ready to let it go — and that’s not just our way of reminding you that Glee‘s sixth (and final) season is just around the corner.

In the first official trailer for Season 6, Lea Michele’s Rachel Berry puts her own stamp on that song from Frozen that every grade-schooler in America has been belting in the backs of minivans for the last 12 months.

But there are also potential spoilers in the 20-second spot — most of which confirm what’s already been leaked about the high school musical’s…about the high school musical’s final run of

Gracepoint: No Season 2 for Fox's Mystery-Drama

Gracepoint: No Season 2 for Fox's Mystery-Drama
It’s one and done for Gracepoint.

Fox’s just-wrapped mystery drama will not live on beyond its low-rated first season, TVLine has learned.

Although the Broadchurch remake was billed as a limited series, the possibility existed for a second season. But the show — which starred David Tennant and Anna Gunn — never made a dent in the Nielsens. Its October premiere drew a disappointing 4.8 million viewers and a 1.2 demo rating. (Those numbers fell to 4 mil/0.9 for last week’s finale.)

A Fox rep declined to comment.

Gracepoint fans can take some comfort in knowing the franchise will live on via

American Idol Will Scale Down to One Night a Week, Seacrest Confirms

American Idol Will Scale Down to One Night a Week, Seacrest Confirms
For at least part of its upcoming run, American Idol will air just one night a week, host Ryan Seacrest has confirmed.

Talk of Idol being “more streamlined” in Season 14 began back in mid-May, when then-Fox president Kevin Reilly speculated that, with ratings waning, the onetime reality behemoth would transition to a “two-hour show on one night for most of its run.”

Seacrest confirmed that to be the latest thinking even in the wake of Reilly’s exit in late May. (Dana Walden and Gary Newman took the reins at Fox Broadcasting in July.) “We are going to do the

Fox Developing Top-Secret Hybrid Comedy From Drawn Together Creators
The duo behind Drawn Together are sketching out a potential new series for Fox that’s… unconventional to say the least.

Meet the Kellers, written and exec-produced by Dave Jeser and Matt Silverstein, is being described as a half-hour family sitcom that is part scripted and part hidden camera.

The 20th Century-produced project is said to be in the early development stage, and further details on the premise are being kept under very tight wraps.

10 Wtf TV Moments You Won’t Believe They Got Away With

Channel 4

When something controversial, bizarre or shocking graces your tellybox, do you change the channel? Or even shut it off? No, of course you don’t; the last thing you want to do is look away. That’s why the most Wtf TV moments – even those discussed in hushed whispers – experience a special kind of longevity, still frequently referenced and remembered decades after their initial run.

True, there have been many moments of this variety to send the outraged and disgusted crying to Ofcom over the years – ecstasy trial Drugs Live, nineties magazine show The Word and anarchic black comedy Brass Eye to name just a few. But controversial TV doesn’t always have to be morally divisive, or mouth-agape awkward, or abrasive satire. The spooky and the strange have also caused their fair share of upset, with legendary faux-documentary Ghostwatch and Derren Brown’s Seance ranking as some

5 Directors Who Could Helm Marvel's 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Movie

  • The Playlist
After much speculation, it seems that we now know the identity of Marvel's secret film that's been long targeted for a May 2014 release. And it's not "Ant-Man," or "Black Panther," or "Runaways," or "Doctor Strange." It's "Guardians Of The Galaxy," the cosmic adventure that was a favorite in the 1970s before being revived recently.

Originally, the Guardians were a group of superpowered individuals from an alternate timeline in the 31st century, including human astronaut Vance Astro, humanoid crystal Martinex T'Naga, soldier from Jupiter Charlie-27, and Yonda Udonta, a savage from Beta Centurai. The team (whose lineup would have other shifts), battled a number of adversaries, including alien race the Badoon, and teamed up with The Avengers before the series was cancelled in the 1990s. A more recent 2008 update relaunched the property with a new lineup, including long-time characters like Star-Lord, Adam Warlock, Gamora and Quasar, and it's been suggested that

First trailer for Disney's Wreck-It Ralph released

After a slow start with their non-Pixar CG-animated output (see Chicken Little), Disney has been turning things round with its subsequent efforts, finally enjoying huge box office success with 2010's Tangled. Naturally the studio will be hoping to continue that form with their latest animation Wreck-It Ralph, and while it may not have the added attraction of a Disney Princess, if the first trailer released today is anything to go by, then Wreck-It Ralph might just manage to make us forget about the folks at Pixar... well, briefly, at least.

Directed by Rich Moore - whose credits include The Simpsons, Futurama and Drawn Together - Wreck-It Ralph centres on a villainous 8-bit arcade game character who becomes bored of being the bad guy and embarks on a game-hopping journey across the entire arcade in order to prove he's got what it takes to be a hero. John C. Reilly (Step Brothers
