Storyline

The major sub-plot circles around the youngest Griffin, Stewie, who has a near-death experience at a pool when a lifeguard chair falls on him, but he survives. After having a vision of being in Hell, he decides to change his ways, but this doesn't last long. While watching television, he and Brian spot a man that looks like Stewie. Brian is convinced that he is Stewie's real father, until Stewie learns that the man is actually himself as an adult, taking a vacation from his own time period. Baby Stewie visits thirty years later to discover that his adult self, going by the name Stu, is a single blue-collar middle-aged virgin working at a Circuit City-type store. Meanwhile, Peter and Lois are trying to teach their two older kids, Meg and Chris, to date. In the future, Chris, who hasn't changed much, is working as a cop and is married to a foul-mouthed hustler named Vanessa. Meg is now called Ron, since she had a sex-change after college. Trivia

According to the DVD commentary there was an episode called "Queer as Stewie" where Stewie has a near-death experience and comes out of the closet, but when Fox canceled Family Guy in 2002, the idea was scrapped. Eventually, the idea became the first part of the movie, with the latter part of the plot removed. Also, "Stewie B. Goode" was originally going to be one episode, but the story was thought to be too long for half an hour and was changed into a DVD movie. See more »

The Perfect Family Guy Movie
2 September 2005 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

I just finished watching Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story and it was amazing. It is the perfect Family Guy movie.

The plot revolves around Stewie trying to find his father after a near death experience. The movie is filled with lots of f words that they couldn't say on TV and trust me they take advantage of that. It has many flashbacks and cut scenes which are very hilarious. They have spoofs and cut scenes on everything from Superman to Ferris Bueller's Day Off to the very offensive but funny diabetes jokes. The movie is filled with many cameos as well including Koolaid Man, Evil Monkey and Big Fat Paulie is mentioned.

If you are a true Family Guy fan you will love this movie and watch it over and over again. Seth Mcfarlene is a true genius and this movie showcases his great work. I recommend it to everyone but there is a lot of swearing and offensive comments so if you like that you will like the movie. Buy it Rent but make sure you take time to watch this it won't let you down.
