Promising early horror stuff
searchanddestroy-116 April 2024
I am so excited to have seen such a flick from France, a horror genre little movie. But it could have been better, I am also a bit deceived, I expected something more gritty, more creepy, it had the material to do it. But this story was destined to wide audiences, and in those times, the early eighties, horror films from France were something very hard to purchase, except maybe Jean Rollin's movies. But this short one, made for TV industry, is still very interesting, especially, I repeat, for its time. The special effects seem a bit lousy, but I don't care, the intentions are here. An early French horror that I would have imagined a bit more bloody and gritty.
