The Godfathers of Mondo is a well-made documentary revolving around the history of Mondo Cane and the directors who created it. Gualtiero Jacopetti and Franco E. Prosperi provide very interesting stories involving the production of the films. They are not afraid to admit their mistakes and also make for lively interviews. These two lived lives that will make most people's look highly mundane by comparison. Also interviewed are a few film buffs and the composer behind the Mondo films and the hit song "More" which remains popular to his day.
So, bottom line is that Godfathers gets a 8/10. The film is fun to watch, and fascinating for even the most casual Mondo fan. You will not be disappointed with this one.
