Spun-off from

The Pink Panther (1963)
The Pink Panther Show (1969) (TV Series)

The Pink Phink (1964) (Short)
The guys' camouflaging their bodies against the curtain and blinking their eyes, just like Pinky does with the pink wall when the little big-nosed guy is trying to find him.
Pink Panzer (1965) (Short)
The Panther pulling a squeaky-wheeled smoke-cannon behind him during the animated title sequence, just as Pinky's grouchy/paranoid neighbor Harry does with his mortar-launcher in the cartoon.
The Pink Blueprint (1966) (Short)
The Panther going in and out of appearing/disappearing doors during the animated title sequence, similar to the "physically impossible" doors/stairways sequence in the cartoon.
Pink, Plunk, Plink (1966) (Short)
The Panther playing the part of an orchestra conductor during the animated title sequence, as he does in the cartoon.
Smile Pretty, Say Pink (1966) (Short)
The Panther is shown hanging upside down with his imperturbably-cheery head next to the Inspector during the animated title sequence, just as Pinky is positioned on a tree branch during the sequence in S.P.S.P. when the Little Big-Nosed Man is trying to take nature-photos in Pinkstone National Park and Pinky keeps blocking his lens because he didn't pay the $1 camera-fee upon entering.
Tickled Pink (1968) (Short)
The Pink Panther's roller skates comes from this short.
The Man with Two Brains (1983)
Steve Martin's last line in the movie after a hospital bed smashes through a hospital window is "That breeze feels good." This is a nod to his role in The Man with Two Brains (1983) where, as Dr Michael Hfuhruhurr, he tells Dolores Benedict the same words after he inadvertently breaks a window.
The Matrix (1999)
When Clouseau and Ponton are waiting for the elevator to come down, the camera swings around them à la Matrix, the music symbolizes it and they fight Matrix-style with the three guys stepping out of the elevator, who look like they have just stepped out of the Matrix.
