Likable in their Unlikablity
luludavis28 December 2003
I did not think I'd like this show but it has grown on me. These guys are as interesting as the photos that they take. Ben, Ge, Rachid and Alfred are the paprazzi crew while Randy and Steve(?) are the co-owners of Bauer-Griffin, the company that appears savvy enough to not only get the good celeb photos but also get it televised. It's not just about "the hunt" though. There is a human element to it all. Alfred gets to show off his wife and 18 moth old son while we see them at home. Ge gets to ream his buddy, Alfred, out because he screwed up a shot of Winona Ryder. He explains that Alfred is a friend but he must be hard on him if the team effort is to go smoothly. We even get a chance to see Ben get 'punked' by Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow when they confront him for following them. Just another side of the film industry that worth closer examination.
