Some Knockout Singers

This talent show was a massive success story for Australian television, it was the first on the block when it appeared, a bit of an oddity in 2003 and 2004 you might say, but copycat talent shows soon started to appear on Oz TV and Australian Idol now seems rather routine when looking back at it today.

The main thing that stands out in my memory is the three 40something judges (two men and a woman) who spent sections of Australian Idol bitching about things that had no relation to the show itself? This would never happen in today's Australia's Got Talent. But Australian Idol was fun to watch and we got some knockout singers that thrilled me on Sunday/Monday nights for a few years.
