Storyline

Amateur football [soccer] team Athletico Greenwich exists 20 years and is determined to celebrate their 500th match, especially the six veterans who were in it from the start. Life keeps getting in the way of playing, just as it frustrates the lists of things to do before age 30 made by the juniors, as proven by the over 30s' experience, such as Collin's obsession to have a threesome with girlfriend Vicky and her mate Sheera. Captain Cass resents his pregnant girl Kate's intent to focus their entire lives on the baby. Collin's house mate, would be musician Dylan, should answer to his dad. Johhny as taken in his cripple step-dad Don, once the team's mentor. Real or alleged homosexuality is a tender issue. Written by KGF Vissers

This is a fun movie for all ages !!!
20 January 2006 | by See all my reviews

I saw this movie yesterday at the theater... I found it extremely hilarious with a few clichés and touching moments thrown around... The movie revolves around a football team of people in their 20's which has been playing for 20 years and is about to play its 500th match... the characters are so different and each has his own problem and all is done so tastefully and in an outrageous manner that you can't help but laugh at the hilarity of it all !! The cast does full justice to their respective characters- be it Dougray Scott or Jimi Mistry.. I strongly recommend this movie for all adults whether they are football fans or not as the game is played only at the beginning and end credits...
