Storyline

HUM is a short film that reveals the darker side of the music industry through interviews and flashbacks of a former hit band still healing from the past. The remaining band members and the business team reveal the struggle to stay on top amidst egos, industry pressures and demons of self-doubt. Each interview sheds light on what happened while the flashbacks expose the truth behind the words as memories of the ultimate sacrifice flood back into their minds. They try to justify, forgive, deny and forget the tragedy of losing their bass player to the mind numbing comfort of heroin. In the end they are left with a haunting dark chord that resonates in the depths of their souls. Can you hear the HUM? Written by Cheryl Hendrickson
