Trivia:

During the scene in which Laura drags Josh to the van, Josh is not played by Vince Rogers. Rogers was at a concert that day and missed the filming. Josh Summitt (the "roommate") put on an Uma Thurmon wig and a newly bought Old Navy Fleece to double Rogers.

Goofs:

Continuity: During some shots during the argument, a white van is parked behind a bush. This is the same van that pulls up a few moments later. When the van pulls off, Kevin's car can be seen parked across the street. The same car pulled up into the driveway minutes before.

Flopping Fish Movie

This is another typical Sci-Fi Channel movie. A really bad amateur cast of actors and a really bad "monster" creature and very cheap special effects. In this case the special effects are fish that crawl out of the water and start hunting down humans. The Chinese snake-head fish use their fins to pull themselves along the ground on their bellies. The scenes of women screaming as big fish are flopping towards them is good for a few laughs.

Aside from the unintended comedy moments, this movie does not have any redeeming social value and could probably mark the point in human civilization where humanity had reached its evolutionary peak. In spite of how bad this movie is, there was a sequel made dealing with the snake-head fish, and then Frankenfish which is about mutated Chinese Snakehead fish. So this movie has spawned at least two other snake-head fish movies, and the terror may not be over yet.
