Storyline

The Internet has revolutionized our way of life enabling us to communicate and share information with anyone anywhere at any time, a virtual world of education and information. However, just below the surface of this informational super highway there lurks something much darker. A realm where human desires are tested to their very limits, where needs are fulfilled through exploitation and suffering. A cyber meeting place for those driven by sexual desire and money, a place where fetishes can be explored and boundaries crossed, a place where anyone can go and where reality and fiction blur, where the line between right and wrong can be crossed, where carnal desire can outweigh human morality and a man can become a predator. A dark haven protected by cryptic passwords and firewalls, a place from which to view the world and everyone in it. However, tonight, in this realm of images and thoughts, in this underworld of secrets one man's life will change forever, because tonight someone is ... Written by Alex Nicoll

A very good premise for a full-length film
31 January 2009 | by (Bradenton, Florida) – See all my reviews

WARNING: This film deals with very adult themes (date rape) and has strong language. While it is all appropriate for the film, it's not for children. Adults should use common sense before having the young folk see this!! Duh.

This film is about a couple sleaze-bags who operate an internet porn site. Despite the fact that one of the guys probably raped a woman a few years ago, his partner seems content--that is, until photos are posted on the site of the rape. What happens next is truly surprising and exciting.

Most independent shorts these days seem to be made with the intention of attracting backers so that they can perhaps make full-length versions of these shorts or impress the financial people that they have what it takes to go on to bigger things. Well, if that's what the folks who made ATTACHMENT have in mind, I am sure if the right people see this dandy film then they can't help but get the funding. That's because the film is a great idea for a full-length film--with all its twists and turns and great plot ideas. Heck, there are more surprises in this 15 minute short than you often find in a 90 minute film! A terrific short film that left me wanting more.
