After three failed attempts to reach the summit, French mountaineer Jean-Christophe Lafaille declared: "Never again Annapurna". The first two expeditions ended in disaster, and the third was cut short due to poor weather conditions. In 2002, ten years after his first attempt, Lafaille was ready to try again. A question of doubt follows him on his fourth expedition to the tenth highest peak of 8,000m. With his companions, the American Ed Viesturs and the Basque Alberto Iñurrategi, they evolve in difficult conditions. Viesturs and two other members of the team turn back, Lafaille and Iñurrategi persist. Thoughts of his family weigh heavily on Lafaille's mind. Will he manage to reach the top? Will this attempt really mean never again Annapurna?
