In the latest installment of "What to Watch", IMDb's TV Editor Melanie McFarland chats with "Mad Men" stars Jon Hamm, January Jones, John Slattery, and series creator Matthew Weiner about the drama's extraordinary legacy, as AMC prepares to air its final seven episodes.
Thank goodness Jeunet preserved these nuggets of gold. This is a featurette(...of sorts... there are no interviews or any real information in this, but I'm not sure what else one would classify this as, really) found on the Special Edition DVD of Delicatessen. It consists of the original footage, casting tapes and rehearsals, and, where applicable(one of the scenes here did not end up in the movie itself), film clips to compare to how it ended up being. It's interesting to see the acting champs, because there's really only expert performances here(it's no wonder they were cast). This has a running time of just under 9 minutes, and it's well-paced, never losing your interest. It's well-edited, although the changes back and forth in video and sound quality are a little annoying(obviously, they couldn't be helped). As with everything else on the disc, this is entirely in French, but subtitled in English for all of those of us who do not speak the former language. There's not really anything offensive in this. I recommend this to any fan of the picture itself. 7/10
