Fifteen years ago, Jim Gaffigan was yet another young stand-up comic riding the conveyer belt from the comedy clubs to a network sitcom in the wake of the success of Jerry Seinfeld, Ray Romano, Tim Allen, and more. His CBS sitcom "Welcome to New York" was designed as a vehicle for him, but somewhere between the start of development and when it hit the air, the focus shifted to co-star Christine Baranski, an Emmy winner for CBS' "Cybill." It turned out to be a good showcase for neither, and produced only 13 episodes before calling it quits. That wasn't the end of Jim Gaffigan, sitcom actor, but for a long time, it was the end of Jim Gaffigan, aspiring sitcom star. He took jobs on other people's shows ("The Ellen Show," "My Boys") and largely focused on his food-obsessed comedy act (like his famous routine about Hot Pockets). Given how well »

Tyler Oakley is already a star online. Now, his name will be more familiar to traditional television viewers, too. The 26-year-old YouTube vlogger appeared as a guest for the first time on The Ellen Show on May 21, 2015.

The vlogger and author of the upcoming book Binge not only discussed his YouTube career, but also told DeGeneres about his meeting with President Obama where he called the Oval Office’s desk “cute.” Oakley also explained how one of his videos influenced the singer Ricky Martin to come out as gay, which the vlogger said was mind-blowing considering he “used to have a crush on [Martin].”
At the end of Oakley's interview, DeGeneres said she had a gift for the YouTuber which she wanted »

Have you ever gone on the treadmill and while doing your obligatory jog, imagined yourself dancing to the music blasting from your earphones? But you don't do anything about it because you'll end up falling on your face? Well, Carson Dean went for it, and it's absolutely amazing. The actor and dancer was a guest on The Ellen Show earlier today after a video of himself busting a move on the machine went viral (and we're not talking a little head bob and some shoulder shrugs, he freakin' flips on the treadmill!). "I just made the video for my friends and family to see on Facebook, so whenever I upload it on Facebook, I put the private thing, well I thought I did," Dean begins to »
Heaven is at it again. This 4-year-old cutie has graced audiences with her killer moves on The Ellen Show before, and now she returns with her talented mama Tianne to show off what they've been working on most recently—and it's a doozy! The mother-daughter duo broke it down on the show yet again to Beyoncé's catchy "7/11" track, and between her sassy facial expressions and rhythmic swag, there's no doubt that Heaven is fresher than youuuuu. Sorry, but it's true. Heaven and Tianne killed it while showing us how to smack it in the air, flex while our hands are up. The adorable performer even did some groundwork and busted out the Nay-Nay! President Obama departed Los Angeles on Friday morning, but a White House pool report hints of what may have been on his agenda before he left the Intercontinental Hotel in Century City.
Spotted in the lobby of the hotel was Zach Galifianakis, the actor, comic and host of Funny or Die’s “Between Two Ferns.” That is the mock talk show that taped a White House interview with Obama in February 2014. The episode got so many Web hits that it was credited with helping boost enrollment in the Affordable Care Act.
Also spotted, along with senior White House officials, was manager and producer Eric Ortner, co-chair of the White House’s Entertainment Advisory Council. That group organized showbiz messaging efforts around the launch of the Affordable Care Act and, more recently, a segment during this year’s Grammys to stop domestic violence. Obama appeared in a pre-recorded video, followed by a performance by Katy Perry. »

We had no Pixar movie last year (boo!!!), but this year we have two (yay!!!) with Inside Out leading the charge this Summer (followed by The Good Dinosaur in November). Inside Out continues the studio's trend of deep story telling spinning out of wonderfully unique ideas, taking a trip inside the head of 11 year old Riley, and introducing us to the emotions, led by Amy Poehler's Joy, who guide her through her everyday life. The latest trailer, courtesy of The Ellen Show, gives us our best look yet at the story, and the weird and wonderful places it will take us. On top of that is a truly wonderful voice cast, including Mindy Kaling, Bill Hader, Phyllis Smith, and Lewis Back, who has stolen the show for me already, thanks to his line about bears (you'll know why once you hear it). This feels like Pixar on top form, »

Disney and Pixar unleased an all-new Inside Out trailer that finally details what we can expect from this unique adventure. We've already met the setting, a young girl named Riley, and her various emotions. But what actually is going on inside Riley's head? Watch what happens when the most important emotion gets lost in the dark recesses of the brain. The Ellen show debuted the new Inside Out trailer, which features Amy Poehler as Joy. As the central emotion of Riley's brain, she is responsible for maintaining the young girl's cheery disposition. Along with Anger (Lewis Black), Sadness (Phyllis Smith), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Fear (Bill Hader), she keeps Riley's emotional state on track. Unfortunately, our new look at Inside Out reveals how Joy and Sadness get sucked away from the command center of the brain and propelled into the deepest depths of Riley' »

Exec produced by Chris Hardwick, the special titled “Sleight of Mouth With Justin Willman” features sketch comedy, magic, field pieces and cannabis-fueled social experiments with guest comedians Doug Benson and Paul Scheer.
“Only on Comedy Central can a guy do magic for stoners in a pot dispensary, then go head-to-head with child geniuses in the same half-hour,” said Willman.
Hardwick, who is producing with his Nerdist Industries, plus Alex Murray of Brillstein Entertainment and “Late Night” exec producer Robert Morton, commented: “Justin is hilarious, but quite honestly scares the crap out of me. His tricks are so good that I am convinced he is some kind of evil wizard who has been sent here to bring about the End of Times with his dark magic.”

It all started when birder and wildlife photographer Jason Ward tweeted this photo taken by amateur photographer Martin Le-May of Essex, England. Le-May recently went on a nature walk hoping to see a green woodpecker for the first time.
He got that and then some:
Absolutley Incredible photo by Martin Le-May. Green Woodpecker and Weasel. Apparently the Woodpecker escaped. pic.twitter.com/PUt1b2Mbhs

News: Remember the Left Shark meme? Katy Perry made it a onesie!
Twitter immediately started retweeting the amazing snapshot, dreaming up Pixar-worthy backstories where the woodpecker and weasel are best friends and the woodpecker is giving his buddy a lift. Or they’re in love and this is the “A Whole New World” moment.
No. That weasel is trying to kill that woodpecker.
“We heard a distressed squawking and I saw that flash of green,” Le-May told Buzzfeed News. He pulled »
No one wants to be interrogated by a room full of your exes, on national TV, no less, so we really felt for Chris Soules as he faced the brokenhearted, angry, and high-strung contestants from his season on The Bachelor at The Bachelor: Women Tell All, which aired on Monday night. I spoke with Chris immediately following his televised inquisition, and he told me he has a "whole new level of respect for Andi" now that he's stepped in her shoes as the star of the reality TV dating show. Find out who was the hardest goodbye, who he'd pick for The Bachelorette, and more in our interview with him below. Popsugar: How did you feel watching the show? Did it change your feelings about any of the women? Chris Soules: I know what I experienced, and that's all I know. You know, watching it over again, you »
