Since we launched Tubefilter Charts last week, the response has been overwhelming—and we've been listening. We've received many requests for a United States-only version of the Tubefilter Top 50, which tracks the most viewed channels on YouTube worldwide each and every week. We get why. It's great to see the Swedish PewDiePie contend with the South Korean Psy for the top of the listing, but it's also interesting to get an overview of what homegrown American channels are attracting the most eyeballs week after week. That's why we've been very quick to produce the latest in our Tubefilter Charts series, the Top 50 Most Viewed YouTube Channels in the United States. You'll see some similarities between the Us and Worldwide versions, especially in the upper half of the chart. The first 28 channels - starting with the Us #1 The Ellen Show (with 34.3+ million views) and ending with the Us #28 How It Should »

Promoting a big movie is sometimes a very silly business in and of itself. Trailers and viral websites are overly commonplace, and while Star Trek Into Darkness. hovering drone logo was a sight to be seen, not all films can succeed in that kind of large scale stunt. Take Despicable Me 2 (please). While I.m surprised they haven.t yet figured out a way to shrink the minions down to a cellular level and injected them into our bodies, instead, Steve Carell took a trip to NBC.s The Ellen Show dressed in full costume as Gru, his animated evil non-mastermind antihero. While it.s easy for some schmuck to put on a Batman costume and call himself Batman, Carell had to don a bald cap, fake nose, a weird jacket and a scarf to complete the look. It.s summer, people! Gru is undeniably a crowd sensation, showcased »

During Comic-Con in 2010, Will Ferrell went the extra mile to dress up like his character Megamind from the DreamWorks Animation film, and now his Anchorman: The Legend Continues co-star Steve Carell has done the same thing. Appearing on "The Ellen Show" with Ellen DeGeneres, Carell appeared in a full costume as Gru from Despicable Me and the forthcoming sequel. Just looking at Carell like this is hilarious because of the strange proportions of Gru as an animated character, but seeing him dance around the show and stay in character is just laugh-out-loud funny. Things like this need to happen more often. Here's Steve Carell in character as Gru from Despicable Me on "The Ellen Show" (via YouTube): Despicable Me 2 is directed by Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud and written by Ken Daurio and Cinco Paul, who all held the same positions on the original film. Steve Carell is »

Want to know how to get some excitement going for your upcoming movie? Take notes from Steve Carell. Today on The Ellen Show, Carell came dressed as his evil animated counterpart Gru to promote the Despicable Me 2. A video of part of the interview along with a clip of the actor scaring the crap out of Ellen's DJ there isn't too much here. However, the dancing makes up for it. Not to mention that he did go to the show dressed as Gru-- what more could you want?! To be fair, I'd see »

Steve Carell dropped by "The Ellen Show" this week and debuted a different look.
The 50-year-old actor appeared on Ellen DeGeneres' talkshow done-up as his character Gru from the animated flick "Despicable Me." Carell sported a bald head, fake nose piece, and Gru's trademark oversized shoulders -- take a look in the video above. He even rocked Gru's outfit from the film: a black coat and striped scarf.
Carell spoke in the voice of his character Gru, marking his first appearance on television. Hyping his next film, Carell as Gru showed off some of his best dance moves, breaking it down with the audience.
Carell is reprising his role in the upcoming sequel to "Despicable Me." Also featuring the voices of Kristen Wiig and Benjamin Bratt, among others, "Despicable Me 2" hits theaters on July 3.

New York, May 24: Amanda Seyfried has said that she may have lost some of her best assets.
The 27-year-old actress told Ellen DeGeneres on 'The Ellen Show' that she looked a lot better when she was 15, asserting that she had huge breasts, the New York Daily News reported.
Then she came to Hollywood and lost weight to look thin and fit.
But when DeGeneres asked Seyfried if she missed her breasts, she replied that though they were quite uncomfortable, they looked beautiful.
She added that she was feminine at that time and had some nice curves.

Between Ellen DeGeneres' badass takedown of Abercrombie & Fitch and the frequent guest appearances of tiny divas Sophia Grace and Rosie, we weren't sure that we could love "The Ellen Show" any more. Luckily, today's show, co-hosted by Jennifer Aniston, proved us wrong.
At one point, Aniston sat down with Ellen and her wife of nearly five years, Portia de Rossi. The ensuing conversation might be one of the cutest things to ever occur on national TV.
"You guys are so good to each other," Aniston said. "But let's get serious, [Portia], what bugs you about Ellen?" After a bit of cajoling, de Rossi admitted that there was "one tiny thing" that bothered her: "I love cooking and I love preparing food ... I try to make it kind of romantic. But every single night, just as I serve her dinner, just as I put it in front of her, she gets up and feeds the cats. »

Doogie Howser is no longer a child.
With his June 15th Birthday fast approaching, Neil Patrick Harris will soon turn 40. The actor swung by "The Ellen Show" to not only discuss the finale of his hit sitcom, "How I Met Your Mother," but also give details on the elaborate Birthday celebration his fiance, David Burtka planned.
From a scavenger hunt with iPad minis, to a surprise flight to Walt Disney World and New York City, the intricate celebration certainly shows Burtka's love for Harris, we're exhausted just hearing Harris describe the festivities.
If a hit sitcom and cross-country birthday flights weren't enough, Harris will hit the stage again to host The Tony Awards for a fourth time on Sunday, June 9th, just mere days before his big 4-0. »

Paltrow was on The Ellen Show yesterday, and daytime TV's biggest scamp made her do impressions of singers and rappers, including Jay-z, Kanye, Beyoncé, and her husband, Chris Martin. Apparently, Gwyneth Paltrow's robust history of name-checking her good friend Jay-z is good for something: perfecting an impression. Okay, maybe it's not perfect, but it's a solid effort. It's at least better than her Kanye. Also, with three great clips this week, is The Ellen Show appointment viewing now? And if so, when should we all quit our jobs so we can stay home and watch? »

The 34-year-old displayed her heaving bosoms in a black low-cut dress, as she took her seat opposite Ellen DeGeneres and Perry.
"What a weird day you're here on," DeGeneres said to her guest host Perry referring to Hewitt's cleavage.
