Trivia:
On the wall in Budd (Michael Madsen)'s trailer hangs a poster for Mr. Majestyk (1974). In True Romance (1993), written by Quentin Tarantino, Drexl (Gary Oldman) refers to Clarence (Christian Slater) as "Motherfuckin' Charlie Bronson. Mr. Majestyk." Also, 'Mr Majestyk' was written by Elmore Leonard, who also wrote 'Rum Punch', the novel on which Tarantino's last film prior to Kill Bill, (Jackie Brown (1997)) was based. moreGoofs:
Continuity: During the fight between Beatrix and Elle Driver, Elle's boots change from Stiletto heels to normal heels. In the beginning of the fight Elle drives her stiletto heel into Beatrix's foot. Later on, while they are fighting in the bathroom, you can clearly see Elle's boot with a different, western boot style heel. moreQuotes:
[first lines]Bill: Do you find me sadistic? You know, Kiddo, I'd like to believe that you're aware enough even now to know that there's nothing sadistic in my actions. At this moment, this is me at my most masochistic.
The Bride: Bill, it's your baby.

does anyone wonder why they made the second part nothing compared to the first? i know that the second part tells the 'story', but did anyone else think that it needed less story, and more of the great fight scenes in the first one? me and my friends were bored by the opening sequence, never mind some for the rest of the film. Uma Therman wasn't even in it that much, and when she was, her character wasn't as strong as she was in the first one. i saw the first one and thought it was great, so when the second one came out i saw it straight away, but i was disappointed. they should have just combined the two so one half wasn't all fighting and the other wasn't all story.what does everyone else think?
