It seemed that this was the weekend that spring truly sprung, at least here in the northeast. Folks of every kind stripped off their North Faces and enjoyed the sun in its full glory, and it looks like celebrities were doing the same thing! Except, they did it better, as celebrities often do. Mega-hotties Rihanna, Jessica Alba and LeAnn Rimes were all spotted gettin’ down in their two pieces by the water.
Riri (naturally) took it upon herself to show off her assets via Instagram with a sneaky backward glancing shot. Taken by Chris Brown, perhaps? We’ll never be sure, but we can sure speculate! The good girl gone bad looked so good in her leopard print suit.
Jessica was seen living it up on a Caribbean beach over the weekend, too. Despite having had two kids already, she looks just as flawless as she did during her Into The Blue years. »

It's time to usher in a new era in film, you guys, because Jessica Alba is ready to really bring it. See, earlier in her career, she did a lot of movies just for the love of it, but now that she's a mom, she wants to focus on the roles that really matter. No, seriously, that's what she said:“When you have kids, you kind of think, I don’t need to work just to work. I want to sink my teeth into a character that makes it worth not being with my kids, or not being at the office. Having kids, having strong relationships with my husband, my friends, that it is my priority… that’s what really defines me, not a tabloid or a movie opening or a poster or an endorsement.”Ok, so to clarify, this means that Jessica Alba thinks that people take her seriously as an actress, »

Sam Raimi's Oz The Great And Powerful is already looking like it's getting a sequel...
The indications are pointing to Disney having a pretty big hit on its hands with Oz The Great And Powerful, which arrives in cinemas today. The movie, directed by the mighty Sam Raimi, has been gathering up impressive reviews. And box office projections have been sizeable.
With that in mind, perhaps it's no surprise that Disney is already putting together the parts of a potential sequel. Variety reports that Mitchell Kapner has been hired to put a screenplay draft together, and he'll dig into some of the other written work of L Frank Baum for his inspiration. Kapner's credits to date include The Whole Nine Yards and Into The Blue 2. Work apparently began a good month or two ago.
It's unclear as of yet if Sam Raimi would »

Believe it or not, you're actually going to have more than one option this week when it comes to movies taking on the hunt for and killing of Osama Bin Laden. Yes, there's Kathryn Bigelow's awards season favorite, "Zero Dark Thirty," going into wide release on Friday. But hitting DVD and Blu-ray yesterday was The Weinstein Company's much lower budget "Seal Team Six: The Raid On Osama Bin Laden." The latter movie brings with it an unlikely group of players. Directed by John Stockwell ("Tursistas," "Into The Blue," "Crazy/Beautiful"), its biggest names are Cam Gigandet and Xzibit, and unlike Bigelow's two-and-a-half-hour epic, it runs a mere ninety minutes. The picture earned a tiny bit of press and controversy last fall when it was reported that the filmmakers were tweaking the movie to better position President Barack Obama, an argument not helped by the decision to air 'Team Six' on the National. »
