I had the good fortune to know Sonya (AKA - "The Pet Psychic") and I was involved with the production of the second season of the show. I can tell you that there was never any type of phony physic type of thing going on (no ear piece, no advance cue cards, nothing of any sort). There were many days when she was astounding, some days when she was just surprisingly in tune with things, and an occasional segment or two that didn't make very far in the edit bay. One thing that you will notice if you remember the show, or if you ever have the opportunity to see an episode; Sonya never said anything other than what would help the animals. Even if you don't believe what she had to say about what a pet "said" or "thought," please listen to what she said. It was truly something that is to the good anyone who has a pet and wonders what would be best for them. Sorry if this sounds like a bit of a humanitarian message, but during my time of involvement with the show, that is what impressed me the most.

The Pet Psychic, I liked this short lived show. I guess she must of had a falling out with animal planet because it didn't last long even though it was popular.
I truly believe she could communicate with these animals. I watched here communicate with troubled animals and after she did they reacted in a positive way. I miss this show a lot. I wish she would develop another TV show. Sonya has a radio show on satellite radio, but I don't have access to it. I am not a big writer and it is hard for me to type 10 lines the minimum called for to post here. But, I just wanted to post my support for the show.

This woman needs to be placed in a rubber room.
If you want to communicate with an animal, try feeding it. Buying a few books doesn't hurt either.
Why anyone would believe that a human being can telepathically communicate with animals, is beyond my understanding.
And while we throw Sonya in the rubber room, we should throw Sylvia Browne in there with her, and get her to pay back all of the money she has obtained by lying to unsuspecting people (and usually grieving ones at that!)
Stay away from this show, keep its ratings down, don't even watch it for a laugh.
