The true story of Charmian Brent (née Powell), the rebellious product of a strict 1950s upbringing, and her whirlwind romance with Ronald Biggs leading to a descent into crime, most infamously 1963's Great Train Robbery.
After witnessing a gangland shooting, flatmates Leanne and Rhona are put into witness protection, given new identities and dumped in a grotty flat in Swindon. Meanwhile, two extremely young hit men are on their trail.
Eyes Down! is a cheesy British comedy set in a bingo hall with predictable jokes and tired acting. If it didn't have Paul O' Grady starring in it, it would be more of a family drama. The canned laughter seems to laugh before the gag is actually carried out. It beats anything else the BBC seems to be knocking out these days. Lets see what the next series delivers..
