‘Heathers’ Nsfw Trailer: Don’t Be Late For Class

Will the youth of today that are the target audience for “Heathers” be acquainted with the original cult teen movie that’s three decades old, that inspired it all? Unlikely. Does it matter? Nope. Paramount Networks isn’t leaning on nostalgia for this TV reboot which could give the cast of “Mean Girls” a run for their money.

Victoria Cox, Jasmine Mathews, Brendan Scannell, and Melanie Field take the leads, playing the roles held, respectively, in the movie by Winona Ryder, Lisanne Falk, Shannen Doherty, and Kim Walker.

Lindsay Lohan Wary That Her Past Might Undercut Her Chances Of Playing Batgirl

Lindsay Lohan as the next Barbara Gordon? Don’t count on it.

Despite lobbying for the title role in Warner Bros. and Joss Whedon’s Batgirl movie, Lohan is fully aware that her checkered past may derail the online campaign – regardless of how much momentum (read: Re-Tweets) it manages to build.

On last week’s episode of The Wendy Williams Show (h/t Batman-News), the former Mean Girls actress conceded that because people tend to dredge up her criminal record at every opportunity, the chances of “meeting with people to do Batgirl” are slim at best. Ditto for Mean Girls 2, and we’re not talking about Melanie Mayron’s standalone sequel.

You can’t fault her for trying, as Lindsay Lohan is clearly dead set about taking up the Batgirl mantle for Warner Bros. and Joss Whedon. Still, with such high-profile misdemeanors and probation violations on her record, it’d be a big,

Lindsay Lohan Campaigning To Play Batgirl For Warner Bros.

There’s a good deal of uncertainty surrounding Batgirl at the moment, and a lot of that stems from the debacle that was Justice League. Due to the pic disappointing both critically and financially, the studio’s now lost faith in Joss Whedon, from what we hear, and are reconsidering letting him direct the aforementioned upcoming project. In fact, we’ve even heard that it might be cancelled outright.

Chalk that up as a rumor for now, but it’s clear that there’s some re-shuffling going on behind the scenes at Warner Bros. and unfortunately, Batgirl may be in trouble. Still, that hasn’t stopped various actresses from throwing their hat into the ring for the titular role and the latest to do so is Lindsay Lohan. No, we’re not kidding – but we wish we were.

Taking to Twitter this week, she posted the following message, kicking off

‘Wish Upon’ DVD Review

Stars: Joey King, Ryan Phillippe, Ki Hong Lee, Mitchell Slaggert, Shannon Purser, Sydney Park, Elisabeth Rohm, Josephine Langford, Alexander Nunez, Sherilyn Fenn | Written by Barbara Marshall | Directed by John R Leonetti

You get what you wish for. It’s a trope that has proliferated movies and literature since the dawn of time. When the concept is done well it typically leads to taut, thrilling movies; when its done wrong… Well you get films like Gremlin.

Wish Upon, whilst not a fantastic example of the genre, is not Gremlin-level bad, but it’s not without its problems. The main of which is a ridiculously selfish lead character whose actions belie what is supposed to be a good natured teen struggling with high school. Think Mean Girls but with death, murder, a monkeys paw (yes, for that is the central conceit All these movies take from) and a lot of dead people.

Lindsay Lohan Gets Bit by a Snake in Thailand, Calls It Good Luck

Lindsay Lohan Gets Bit by a Snake in Thailand, Calls It Good Luck
Lindsay Lohan, the Mean Girls star whose career has taken a pretty serious wrong turn in the last several years, has been bitten by a snake. The 31-year-old actress shared the news very casually via a post to her Instagram, as though it's not a big deal at all. Not only that, but she went so far as to say that the snake bite, which she got while visiting Thailand, is actually good luck. This comes after she defended serial sex crimes offender Harvey Weinstein in the press. Coincidence?

The actress is currently visiting Phuket, Thailand and, while on a hike during her vacation, a snake bit her. She didn't reveal what kind of snake bit her or if she's received any kind of actual medical treatment for the bite, but Lindsay Lohan says she's ok and even showed off the bite in the video. Her "shaman," who sadly doesn't
