Storyline

Husband and wife Yamaguchi and Natsuki are young, attractive stars in Japanese adult films. When Natsuki retires to have a baby, Yamaguchi is surprised to learn that his ex-girlfriend Miyuki has befriended his pregnant wife. Miyuki left Yamaguchi when he first started appearing in adult films, and now she's back to show them what poor lifestyle choices they've made. A wry comedy that probes the impact sexuality has on all our lives. Written by Anonymous

I don't know why this has been ranked badly by others. The kids are lovely, the sex is soft-core but appealing, it gives some sense of a Japan today that is not seen in Sofia's tourist "Lost" and, even a couple of deep themes about 1) the effectiveness of "compartmentalizing" professional and personal lives, and 2) the sometimes inconsistent passions of sex and procreation - played by porn actors who really are nice kids, too. It's certainly better than the "Friends" TV sitcom. I was charmed even by the self-referential low-budget video look and feel of the film, which is just the same mode used in the porn flick subject matter, and I rate it on that aesthetic basis. I also note this is Nakamura's first directorial job, and I'll hope for and expect very good things from him in future.
