Tropical passions is not a bad film. Far from it. It ranks highly in this genre. But the reason why the movie stands out between so many other erotic thrillers is the lead actress. Diana Kauffman plays a detective and while trying to solve one of her cases she encounters an old friend.
This movie was broad casted twice on a Belgian network and at least one time on a Dutch network. And it got some good feed-back. Most of it was about Dianna Kauffman's performance. She isn't just beautiful, she is a talented actress. That's the reason why she is popular in Belgium and other European countries. It is surprising to see she hasn't been in more movies lately.
Maybe she should star in a European film.
