Johnny Depp Cheated On Vanessa Paradis With Stewardess — Report

27 December 2012 3:37 PM, PST | HollywoodLife | See recent HollywoodLife news »

Being typically low-key in regards to his personal life and partnership with Vanessa over the past 14 years, there has been a shocking report as to why the couple has split.

Perhaps Johnny Depp had been flirting with the idea of being a part of the mile-high club, since he reportedly sacrificed his relationship with Vanessa Paradis, the mother of his two children, to repeatedly hook up with a sexy, young airline stewardess.

Julie Ellis, 27, has been Johnny’s personal flight attendant for a few years now. Friends of Julie told Star Magazine, “She [Julie] says they have insane sexual chemistry and can’t keep their hands off of each other.” The pair was photographed getting too close for comfort boarding a flight out of Van Nuys, California on Dec 15. Julie told Star herself, “I love my job. Someone took a picture that shouldn’t have been taken.” But did she ever »

Heard Will Appear in Costner’s New Thriller

15 December 2012 4:16 AM, PST | | See recent LRM Online news »

Zombieland” actress Amber Heard will play a part in the new Kevin Costner film slated for production: “Three Days to Kill.”

The movie will follow Costner’s dying Secret Service agent who decides on entering the greener pastures of retirement in order to spend his last days with his beloved family. The catch is his recuperation from his lethal ailment is possible, but with a steep price. Heard will be the mysterious female lead that offers this miracle cure, if he performs one last job. It won’t be so easy when the drug’s hallucinatory side effect can be harmful to Costner’s character.

Regardless of the depth of potential drama, it is safe to say that there will be a plentitude of stylish action scenes, the script having been written by “The Fifth Element’s” Luc Besson along with Adi Hasak.

Amber Heard Joining Kevin Costner for Besson's 'Three Days to Kill'

14 December 2012 8:29 AM, PST | | See recent news »

Next year will be quite a busy one for Amber Heard. Though she last starred in the not-so-well received The Rum Diary and the canceled NBC series "The Playboy Club," that's not stopping her from getting work. Next year Heard will be seen in the grindhouse inspired sequel Machete Kills (see her in a first look photo right here) and also the financial thriller Paranoia with Gary Oldman, Harrison Ford and Liam Hemsworth. Now Variety reports the actress will get back into action thrillers for Three Days to Kill, the Luc Besson written and produced film that features Kevin Costner in a role that could prove to be his career's Taken. The story follows a dying assassin (Costner) who, while taking on one last mission, hopes to reunite with his estranged daughter (played by Hailee Steinfeld) before it's too late. Heard is playing a woman who offers the assassin an »

Amber Heard to Star Opposite Kevin Costner in McG’s Three Days To Kill

14 December 2012 8:02 AM, PST | | See recent news »

Director McG has found his leading lady for the upcoming action thriller Three Days to Kill.  Variety reports that Amber Heard (The Rum Diary) is set to star opposite Kevin Costner in the pic for Relativity Media.  The script was written by Luc Besson and Adi Hasak and centers on a dying Secret Service agent (Costner) who decides to retire in order to spend time with his estranged family.  Heard has been set in the lead female role of “a woman who offers him access to an experimental drug that could save his life in exchange for one last assignment, which Costner must complete while coping with the drug's hallucinatory side effects.”  One imagines McG will try to bring the very visual premise to life with some innovative camera work, so here's hoping for the best. Heard most recently wrapped roles in Robert Rodriguez’s sequel Machete Kills and the »

Amber Heard Teams Up With Costner For ‘Three Days To Kill’

14 December 2012 5:42 AM, PST | The Hollywood News | See recent The Hollywood News news »

Any project starring the great Kevin Costner gets me excited and he’s looking at an action-man reinvention of Liam Neeson-like proportions with action-thriller Three Days To Kill. The project has been co-written by Taken creator Luc Besson, however, the less said about the choice of director the better (it’s the silly monikered McG by the way).

The film will see The Untouchables and JFK star as Secret Service Agent Ethan Runner, who decides to retire and spend more time with his estranged family after learning he doesn’t have long to live. He is soon offered the chance to take an experimental drug that will prolong, and even save his life – providing he takes on one last mission. This decision becomes a struggle as he tries to keep the promise he made to his loved ones and the job he must complete, with the new drug’s hallucinatory side-effects. »

Amber Heard Gets Three Days To Kill

13 December 2012 5:52 PM, PST | EmpireOnline | See recent EmpireOnline news »

Three Days To Kill boasts a high-concept plot spawned by Luc Besson and co-writer Adi Hasak and McG seated in the director’s chair, and the action thriller has already scored Kevin Costner and Hailee Steinfeld. Amber Heard is the latest to join their ranks.Kill will star Costner as Ethan Runner, a Secret Service agent who is shocked to discover he’s dying. But then he’s tempted with the offer of a possibly wondrous drug that might just extend his life and give him more time with his daughter (Steinfeld). There are just a couple of teeny, tiny complications, though: he has to go on one final mission as a condition of taking the treatment and, oh yes, the drug gives him incredibly weird hallucinations which will make carrying out the job that much more complicated.Heard is set to play the woman who dangles the offer of »

'Lone Ranger' Trailer: Watch Johnny Depp Talk to a Horse

Based on the new trailer for "The Lone Ranger," Johnny Depp has racked up yet another entry on his long list of eccentric characters. The man behind the effete vampire in "Dark Shadows," the outlandish Jack Sparrow in "Pirates of the Caribbean" and whatever it was he was going for in "The Rum Diary," is back as Tonto, a Native American with some distinctive face paint.  He's also got a habit of talking to horses and erecting sick beds on the top of extremely tall rock formations. Disney closes deal for Johnny Depp-produced 'Don Quixote' pitch

5 December 2012 3:35 PM, PST | EW - Inside Movies | See recent - Inside Movies news »

The Man of La Mancha is back.

With Johnny Depp jumping on and off board director Terry Gilliam’s troubled, long-planned film The Man Who Killed Don Quixote for years, now the actor is instead plunging his own hands into the Don Quixote mix.

EW confirms that Disney has closed a deal for an untitled pitch, a modern take on Miguel de Cervantes’ famed novel Don Quixote, to be written by Jeff Morris and writer-director Steve Pink, and produced by Depp and his sister Christi Dembrowski’s company Infinitum Nihil. Deadline first reported the news.

Depp Plans to Go to La Mancha for Quixote Film

5 December 2012 2:47 PM, PST | | See recent LRM Online news »

Johnny Depp is no stranger to the bizarre and the absurd, in fact he seems to thrive in these roles whether it is Captain Jack Sparrow, Edward Scissorhands, or Sweeney Todd. In a sense, maybe this is all practice for the literary figure who wears his eccentricities on his sleeve: Don Quixote.

Disney will be on its way to making Depp their Man of La Mancha. The film version is described as a modern retelling, so it is still a mystery as to how much of the complexity of Miguel De Cervantes’ seminal novel will remain intact.

Depp though has been the subject of rumors regarding Don Quixote. At one point, he was supposed to be part Terry Gilliam’s nigh-impossible dream film, “The Man Who Killed Don Quixote.” Unfortunately, due to a bevy of on-set mishaps and legal problems, Gilliam’s reworking of the literary classic was incomplete.

Johnny Depp: The Last Buccaneer

12 November 2012 2:25 PM, PST | | See recent Rolling Stone news »

On a recent summer afternoon, Johnny Depp walks into a luxury suite at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. Oddly, he is dressed like a pirate. A faded paisley do-rag is tied around his head. Smaller strips of cloth are braided into his hair, and he has gold caps on several teeth. His loose white T-shirt, with its blue horizontal stripes, maybe more sailor than pirate, but it's definitely in the nautical family.

We should note that Depp has not come directly from the set of his latest film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest »

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard Have Flirty Night Out in Hollywood

At this point, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are just two extremely pretty people who appeared to be enjoying each other's company out in Hollywood this week. The Rum Diary costars spent a couple of "flirtatious but not overly touchy-feely" hours at Av Nightclub on Monday evening, a rep for the club tells E! News. Neither actor's rep returned requests for comment on whether the tête-à-tête indicates that the two are more than friends, as was rumored earlier this year following Depp's split from longtime partner Vanessa Paradis. The Av rep tells us that staffers blocked off the entire outdoor patio for the famous pair, who had brought their own security with »

On Demand – The Future of Now TV

6 November 2012 5:30 AM, PST | | See recent HeyUGuys news »

A month ago I wrote about the latest contender in the On Demand arena, on the occasion of the launch of an Xbox 360 app for Sky’s Now TV. Placing their service on as many consoles and set-top devices as possible is a well-worn and essential strategy and as I use my 360 predominantly for streaming movies and TV this app launch was of keen interest to me. The strengths of the new service were obvious; Sky’s hold over their rival services has always been the access to the latest big films before anyone else and with the recent expansion into categories of movie channels (SkyIndie, SkyFamily etc) there are many more films on offer. After a month with Now TV I can say it’s a promising service with a number of necessary steps it needs to take before it realises its great potential and sets itself apart.

The 49-year-old actor - who confirmed his split from Vanessa Paradis after 14 years together in June - enjoyed a brief romance with the 26-year-old actress in the summer after meeting her on the set of their film 'The Rum Diary'. However, Amber ended their dating arrangement after deciding she wanted to be single. But Johnny decided not to give up on the blonde beauty and sent her a personally penned poem and a bouquet of roses every day throughout September to convince her to give him another chance, and his plan eventually worked and she flew out to his private island, Little »

He tells The Hollywood Reporter about what inspires him, and how Sinister’s soundtrack differs from his Sinister CD. Johnny Depp is Delving Into the Book Business

16 October 2012 8:59 AM, PDT | Thompson on Hollywood | See recent Thompson on Hollywood news »

Johnny Depp likes books. And he's putting his name and time on the line to help run a publishing imprint named after his production company, Infinitum Nihil ("nothing is forever") at HarperCollins publishers.  Depp's already got a big billing on the roster:  Bob Dylan has signed on with "The Unraveled Tales of Bob Dylan," adapted from interviews with best-selling historian Douglas Brinkley.  Dylan's collection, aimed for 2015, marks the singer-songwriter's attempt to set the record straight about his life and music.   Depp's previous ventures in publishing involved other rock star tie-ins.  In 2010, he brilliantly narrated half of the audio edition of Keith Richard's memoir, "Life."  Depp also enjoyed a literary relationship with close friend Hunter S. Thompson, who he has played in several movies.  Depp starred in film adaptations of Thompson's novel "The Rum Diary" and »
