Ever have a childhood friend?
LabyrinthQueen23 September 2006
Well I have. My best friend, Autumn, has been with me since we were in Kindergarten... that's 23 years together. This is what the basic center of Little Chicago's plot surrounds. It is an average story for the most part, nothing unique, but in a time when cinema is trying too hard... back to basics, in a way that is well done, is something quite refreshing. The story follows a couple of childhood friends who eventually go their separate ways, but like all close bonds... there isn't anything you wouldn't do for the ones you love no matter how much time and space may seem to have come between.

The acting is above and beyond, with much material to work with both comedic and emotional. I spent the first part of the movie laughing and then the last 10 minutes crying. Scott Miles (October Sky), Earl Poitier (Remember The Titans), and Adrian Paul (TV's The Highlander) set the gold standard for acting in this independent film (with help from the script that Scott wrote himself). I truly hope that this film is able to find a distributor so that more people may enjoy it as I have.
