Electrifying concert!!!
carlosrojas2729 December 2006
Warning: Spoilers
I own this DVD and I have to say that it's amazing. The full concert is great, but it's quite a little porn and sexual, watch the intro video, when she runs to the water, you can see all of her breast, and I think the special feature where are 5 performances of Would You Mind is very hot! when you see how she performs that song, you'll believe me!

It is a great DVD, and it has 26 live performances! I don't know how does it last only 1hr 54min.

The best performances in the concert are: -Trust A Try -You Ain't Right -Son Of A Gun (Missy Elliott sings it with her) -That's The Way Love Goes -If -Would You Mind (oh, my God!) -Doesn't Really Matter -Together Again -Rythm Nation

There are also outtakes in the middle of the concert, when a songs finishes, the camera records Janet changing her clothes. It's very exciting, and you'll love it!

Exotic with passion
julian-22612 April 2006
The atmosphere of the exotic destination is captured but surpassed by the intensity of JJ and the rapture of the gathering.

I'm already annoyed with myself for not rating it with a perfect 10, the reservation was uncalled for. The reason is that it's the real deal. There is no one alive that can't take something from this. In a world where so much time is wasted watching banal crud, this is the peak of entertainment. It makes you want to thank God for the American culture.

JJ is no novice, she has been around a while to her credit, and this is evidence that she has not wasted her time. Passion is bundled, it spills out repeatedly. The sincere effort to entertain is moving in itself but the accomplishment is greater. OK, strike the 9, it's a 10. My thanks go to Janet.

Get the point? Good. Let's dance.

All For You- Live in Hawaii was Janet at her best. This concert was filled with excitement, toughness, and of course as some of us Janet fans know: sexiness. No one can top Ms. Janet. She came out strong with her petite frame and pretty face and rocked a good show. If you're watching this concert for the first time then I know you will have a great experience. This concert marked the second time I seen Ms. Jackson live on stage and had me shocked at some points. Some of the things you could always expect from Janet is some great dancing, some surprises, and her singing your favorite Janet songs. Janet never leaves a stone unturned and you never have to worry about being disappointed. This is an all out great show and if you're watching it for the first time, I hope you enjoy it.

Best of the BEST

Janet contour's to amaze and inspire on this her final show of the All For You concert(s) live in Hawaii. Great dance and incredible staging makes this one of the best concert DVD's out there. Favorite parts of the concert include the opening number (Come on Get Up), the If montage and the behind the scenes "quick changes" that Janet provided when this concert was broadcast live on HBO. Janet continues to amaze her audience and really lets them be involved in the show. Missy Elliot makes a cameo on the stage with Janet and they sing and dance together. Janet is clearly an ICON that continues to astound her critics and her audiences, There are also songs that were not performed at her concerts in the states (including Black Cat). Pick up this DVD today - DO NOT HESITATE!!!

good concert, but seems reycled

This was an excellent show and tour, which really displayed the fact that JAnet still has what it takes to compete against her younger peers. However i just felt as if the show was too similar, and at points, almost identical to her Velvet Rope Tour. I realize that she may have intended this in order to give the show a 'Janet' feel, but it just felt lazy on her behalf. The music selection was impressive, as she opens the show with the energetic ' Come on Get Up', and never lets up, with one big hit after the other. The choreographed dance segments ar nothing short of stunning, with hardly a misstep to be seen. The DVD is recommended as it features amazing picture and sound, with a bonus DTS mix thrown in, for those who have the capability of playback for this special audio format.

Are you ready for Janet at her best?
starlet-uk5 October 2003
Everything you could want from a concert is here. The singing, the dancing, the band, the clothes, the lights, and the party. The stage, like Janet was constantly evolving and changing and seemed big enough to hold such a personality. Janet took on different moods such as diva/Theatrical/the Sugar Plum Fairy/Street-wise/ Zoot Suit Queen/Dominatrix/Japanese rocker/Head of a military troupe/Herself.

The set list included: Come on Get Up/You Ain't Right/All For You/Love will Never Do Trust a Try/Come Back To Me/Let's Wait A While/Again Runaway/Miss You Much/When I Think of You/Escapade Son of a Gun/Got Til It's Gone/Thats The Way love Goes/What Have You Done For Me Lately/Control/Nasty Alright Would You Mind If/Black Cat Rhythm Nation Doesn't Really Matter/Someone To Call My Lover/Together Again

Janet shows her evolution since the Velvet Rope tour at the place she seems most at home - the stage. Janet doesn't have the strongest voice but her enthusiasm and growth make up for this. The camera picks up the crowd having a great time, but they are not very loud. Watch this show for the music, the dancing, and the show itself.
