Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

At the start of the film, Harry and Dudley are attacked by dementors.

-Violent depictions of Voldemort murdering a boy from the previous film. Harry has several of these nightmares throughout the movie.

-Harry has a dream of a main character, being brutally attacked by Voldemort's large pet snake. (Quite a bit of blood is shown.) This is pretty much the only thing that gives the movie its PG-13 rating.

-Harry and Sirius battle 2 main villians, a third one comes along and kills Sirius. Harry chases Bellatrix Lestrange and hits her with the torture curse and is in such a rage he appears on the brink of killing her. Voldemort taunts Harry to murder her during this part.

-Another wizards' duel between Dumbledore and Voldemort.

-Harry sees a memory of Snape being bullied by Sirius, James and Peter Pettigrew; he's hung upside-down from a tree and made fun of. Snape calls Harry's father names like "swine".

1 use of bloody hell, 1 use of hell, 1 use of tosspot, 1 use of swine, 1 use of bugger off, 1 use of git.

Ron says ,"hell bloody no"

Sirius, Lupin, and Ron's dad have beer during a dinner scene

The appearance of various characters and/or monsters, such as Voldemort, some fiery dragon type apparitions, the Dementors, an elf, etc.

Voldemort projects frightening visions into Harry's head throughout the film, and the effects on Harry start to show.

Harry has nightmares several times throughout the film. One of his nightmares shows visions of Cedric being killed again in the Goblet of Fire, this can be very frightening for younger viewers to see.

The big duel between Voldemort and Dumbledore is very intense and frightening.

Rated PG-13 for sequences of fantasy violence and frightening images
