Current soap operas in this country are falling into decadence, but this TV AZTECA's (Producing TV Company) shining star prove the world how exactly a soap opera is to be done...
This is the sequel to successful 1997's "Mirada de Mujer" which focuses the life of "María Inés Dominguez" Beautifully played by Angélica Aragón ("The Crime of Father Amaro","Picking Up The Pieces",etc), and all of her family which includes a Moddy Lawyer, a Possesive Husband, a Daughter married to some mentally ill guy son of a Mafia Leader, and in love with a Sweet poetry Writer... 20 years younger (María Inés is 45).
What makes this soap opera a golden Lamb between the rest is the fact that it is Stunningly direct on what it attempts to comunicate, does not "add make-up" to the actors dialogs, It also deals with this country's real problems and does not try to marry this classical poor girl with this rich guy, and everyone lives happily forever blah blah blah... if you know what I mean.
Rush to see it!
