This documentary short uses a lot of footage from The Recruit, including behind the scenes stuff, and little 'actual CIA training footage', though that shown has people's faces blurred.
Advisor and presumably former CIA instructor Chase Brandon appears without his face being blurred, and though the CIA's official policy is neither to conform or deny the accuracy of the information shown in The Recruit, it appears that most of it is pretty spot on. There is an irony in writers attending the CIA for research, when the CIA is supposed to be a secret service, after all, and this allows for 'poetic license' eg Brandon says that the Career Trainees do not suffer abuse by kidnapping or torture, as in the film.
The documentary uses split screen, flash edits with subliminal images of Arab terrorists, and 9/11 is mentioned. It also includes a scene of roleplay deleted from the film. Ultimately, however, Brandon reveals nothing that interesting and the use of The Recruit footage is overkill.
