I saw this at the Palm Springs Short Film Festival, and thought it was great. It was a real nostalgia trip, as I vaguely remember the insanity that was the Cabbage Patch Kids Christmas, and the great pains my parents went to simply for a weird doll with "Xavier Roberts" written on its ass.
The soundtrack is perfect, the acting is fantastic, and it is beautifully shot. I really enjoyed this film, and eventually met the director, who was a helluva nice guy, and took to carrying around a Cabbage Patch Kid at every one of the festival's events.
Definitely worth checking out.
