Fries with That is a sitcom about the hilarious antics of a group of teens who run havoc running a fast food joint. Pattie, Robyn, Tess and Alex are way too concerned with friends, dating, body image, and the in-crowd to bother much with actually working. All the while, the assistant manager Ben is going nuts trying to get them to flip burgers and actually serve customers. Written by Ciné Télé Action

Comedy that should only be viewed by children and people of lesser intelligence.

This is a show alike many others, simply because YTV has had so many terrible shows in the past few years, and they just can't seem to get themselves a winner. And,this "fries with that", a sorry excuse for a comedy, has once again failed YTV and their constant efforts to create a funny show."Radio Active" was a show that had a low budget and unknown actors yet together they tried really hard to make something small into something great.Just because some of the actors from "Radio Active" are in this show,it DOES NOT mean this show is anywhere near as good as it.Hell, this show has so many bad points,it's hard to know where to begin. The direction, first off,is poor, and i know fifteen year olds that can do a better job.The acting is mediocre, with characters that shoot off wisecracks that aren't even funny. The scripts are stupid-the writing in general is meant for eight-year olds, with nothing less than childish jokes.Sure, these actors are not that bad,and they are respected in the Montreal film and television scene, however, they are directed poorly each episode, and their over-the-top comedy works at times, but mostly doesn't.The characters are clever, yet they are not at all developed due to the stupid lines and un-funny jokes, and poor direction. This show needs a bigger set, more actors, more guest appearances, better direction,MUCH better scripts, and jokes that can make everyone laugh-not just elementary-school children. I honestly cringe when i see this show appearing on my t.v,and i don't mean to offend anyone, because i know the effort and work that is put into making this show. However,a failure is a failure, and this is a major one.It just seems as if YTV is not being at all creative. This storyline in general could work. However,it seems as if YTV always sticks to the same cheap,low-budget,one-set kind of thing, with over the top jokes, slapstick that would make the three stooges wince with pain, and that stupid laugh track.Once again, a worthy effort, but a failure none the less. Not even the actors could save this one...
