This documentary about the world of barbershops and the men who run them is a unique look into the vanishing industry known as barbering. This film follows several men who choose this as their profession, and gives an insight into not only the history of the barbering profession, but a look into the lives of the men and their customers.
This film has garnered several film festival awards and rightly so for the filmmakers as they did a wonderful job, catching the the emotional impact of the men who love what they do in a world that has all but passed them by. Even if you've never wondered what makes a barber, you would be interested in seeing what makes the men who work in this profession. It's an up close and intimate portrait of a bygone era. A definite must see!
