Own the rights?
Definitely an interesting story, this anime short is only (as far as I'm aware) available on a bonus disc with .hack//infection, and I don't think anyone would rush out to the shops to buy it if it was released as an individual disc.That having being said, however, I found it a very enjoyable watch. The animation was good, the music was excellent and the plot did help me further understand the goings-on in The World; it also made me listen out whilst playing the game for a certain sound (you have to watch it to understand what I mean).Intriguing and mysterious, it definitely made me want to go and buy the next game so I could get volume 2, but I think that people with only a mild interest in the story should not bother forking out for it.
