Mafia Mayhem with the Davino's!!
27 October 2003 | by (Pasadena, CA) – See all my reviews

Big Thursday is really a delightful, yet dark and funny short film by a talented young director. What I love about the film is you don't see the comedy coming, but when it does, it's hilarious. The films best qualities are the dialogue and quick pacing. The only thing that takes away from the film's full potential is the somewhat "hammy" acting by Sebastion Feldman. Plus, he uses the word "ma," like a hundred times! However, the dad, Angelo Davino played by Harold Cannon, is a great character and fun to watch. Overall, a great short worthy of being seen and enjoyed by all.
