At 23:29 a young bespectacled awaits the last train back home on a deserted station platform. His nerves become even more frayed when he is joined by a large group of hooligan types who have clearly been drinking a lot. At this point the platform becomes a jungle - populated by these violent dangerous animals.
With cartoony animation and no dialogue this short needed to be amusing or clever to keep me entertained. Sadly it didn't really succeed in either way. The film turns a group of thugs into animals to be feared in a way that is quite well done by the animator, but outside of the animation there is nothing really to mention this for.
The plot is basically the Walter-type sitting on the platform and his fears transform it into a jungle surrounded by vicious animals. The point about the thugs being quite normal and more spooked by his freaky behaviour is offset by the 5 minutes spent painting them as animals but it is OK I guess. It isn't really very funny so, like I've said, the main focus is the animation. This is quite good (not an animator myself so it's hard to say). The transformations are quite cleverly done if a little obvious and the jungle sprouts nicely.
Overall I didn't think that this was worth watching just for the animation, but sadly there was nothing else of note to justify spending 5 minutes on it. Maybe for other animation students but not for general viewing.
